On the KMC topic. True, their lower end models suck a big one and were aptly named KillMyChildren by my LBS after seeing several of them snap on kids bikes.

However, their heigher end models are fantastic. I have the Z610HX and it does not stretch and runs very quiet and smooth.

I also belive that there is no benefit in using an 1/8 chain over a 3/32 apart from adding weight.
