First Race in Twenty year

first race today... the Snowball Crit, in Virginia Beach, VA...
I accomplished my goals...
1) got the first race under my belt since 1988
2) did NOT crash
3) did NOT cause a crash...
4) FINISHED

this was a .7 crit course... flat and no tight turns... at race time about 47, with about a 5-10 mph wind from the North.

What did I learn... Though I can clip in quickly... the race Starts immediately.. and the "boys" this was a combined field of CAT 5 men, CAT 4 women and juniors... the boys start quickly... I have been use to a gradual increase in pase when I ride...

SO for next weeks race... ALL of the above plus.. Get up to speed and hang on...
