A couple of years ago a friend of mine got beaned by a water bottle, he just happends to be a state highway patrol officer. He got the plate nuber and made a few phone calls and with in a few minutes he a a sherrifs car along with a statey there with him. They take the bottle as evidence, and by now have run the plates and have an address. my friend rides down the road to where the kids live and confront them. Leaving the other 2 officers at thte scene.
Kids along with parents answer the door and yes the kids admit to doing it. The parents thinking its funny about as much as the kids did. Buddy now pulls out his phone. and 30 seconds both officers pull into the drive. Now the parents no longer think its a laughing matter, as there 17 and 18 year old sons are loaded in the back of patrol cars.
Both of them were charged as adualts with felony assault. One for throwing the bottle and the one driving for not controlling his passanger and letting him do it.
