this was a .7 crit course... flat and no tight turns... at race time about 47, with about a 5-10 mph wind from the North.

What did I learn... Though I can clip in quickly... the race Starts immediately.. and the "boys" this was a combined field of CAT 5 men, CAT 4 women and juniors... the boys start quickly... I have been use to a gradual increase in pase when I ride...

SO for next weeks race... ALL of the above plus.. Get up to speed and hang on...
Congrats on accomplishing your goals!!!

Maybe you should warm-up on the trainer in order to prepare you for the surges at the begining of the race.
