My recommendation is to carefully read the instructions that come with the campy chain, then file them where ever you keep the rest of you campy manuals and get a shimano sized (6.0mm?) wipperman connex and use that instead.

I found it interesting that the campy 10 speed chain manual is thicker than the manual for any of the other campy parts that I've purchased in the 10 speed era. The contrast is even starker when you compare the 10 speed chain manual to the 9 speed one. The 9 speed chain "manual" is about the size of an unfolded gum wrapper and it still has at least 5 languages on it.

Or maybe I'm the only one that thinks the campy chain is just too complicated?
