My favorite place ws in Va. Right across the street from a hospital. It ws a vast stretch of really hilly woods next to the Powhite Swamp. What was cool about that was it is real easy to get lost in there. It is so big with so many trails and then to add to it a real long cliff with lots of roots and big pentacles that challenges you to pay attention or plunge in the soup. Tyler State Park in Tx. is real fun hilly enough to challenge you no real severe elevation mind you but real fun. The key is to go during the week when no one is there and ride B loop backwards, talking about fast it is a real rush. The next would be where I presently reside there is a big hil about 500 yards away the trick is to go around it to climb it because going down if the conditions are right you can tag 40 mph. I have ridden slews of other places but these are my favorite.
