The HOP uses Columbus Zona Megatube tubing. The 1700g frame is stable, fast and agile, and offers ample clearance for tires up to 32mm wide. Great for cycle-touring, it is equipped with eyelets for a rack.

The ULTRA HOP holds champion titles in Quebec and Canada and is Xprezo’s top of the line cyclo-cross offering. Its octogonal Columbus Spirit front triangle tubes and Columbus Zona rear triangle minimize weight while conserving the optimal ride characteristics of steel. Produced for connoisseurs, the ULTRA HOP's 1465g weight facilitates climbing both the trail and the podium.

So I am not crazy in that that seems a bit thin? Is the HOP narrower than the Ultra HOP as far as clearances?
Quit stressin' and just pick one already.
Teddy ran a few of my tires this season and didn't have any clearance issues. It will be the same
for both. If it worries you that much just ask him to build it with a little more clearance.
