Another thought on this, if you are seated well back, bumm on the wide part, does the cut away need to be that long? I think that the main area where the relief will come from, looks about right. The rest, I would imagine that it is important to have enough leather for structural integrity.
So will this be a good saddle for riding in the drops or is it still for an upright riding bike? It looks skinny enough in the middle for vigorous riding on a good racing bike.
