Just thought I'd pass something along.

I found out today that REI can order just about anything bike related, even stuff you dont see in the store or on the website.This includes brooks saddles, park tools, bottom brackets, whatever. And the regular awesome return policy applies, so if in three months you decided that b17 isnt for you, you can return it, no questions asked. Well they might ask a question or two, but they'll take it back and refund your money, give you a store credit etc.

I went there today to spend my dividend and ended up talking to the head bike guy there and that's how I found out.

I do support my LBS first, but for some things I'm probably going to start using REI just for the return policy. Like for the brooks, just in case it turns out they arent for me. In fact maybe I'll go there for everything considering my LBS guy is socially inept and a bit of a ...I shall digress.
