Thanks fellas. Appreciate the insight. Don't want to get the Tarmac because it's too racing oriented and I really just need something at this point where I can go out and train with and enjoy. If I get more serious about my times, at that point I may buy a second bike for racing.

A couple follow up questions though:
The 2004 bike i'm looking at is unused. It's just been sitting on the racks at my lbs for 4 years all pimped out in 100% Dura Ace etc. Are there issues to be concerned about with a bike 4 years old? For instance, if there's glue anywhere (handlebars?), may that lose its stickiness in another 2-3 years? Or will rubber pieces get brittle or something in a couple of years? Or is there anything else I should be concerned about that may have aged and will not be in optimal shape soon?
