This is my all-around road bike so I have the triple in case I decide to head for the hills! I have only used the granny ring 2 times all summer, but is is there if I need it! The 105 triple setup is supposed to be a few grams lighter than the ultegra triple. I am not a racer ,just like riding fast so a double went out to the parts bin.
