Thanks! I just bought an Extreme Front Rack. I had been thinking I made a mistake when I bought my Tubus Tara front rack because it didn't have a platform. 20% off made it worth buying the Jandd to see which I like better. I can sell the one I don't like on Ebay. (Or keep both - how decadent would that be?)

I'm thinking the platform will be useful for carrying a gallon jug of water from the grocery store if I head out into places with no water. It would also be a nice place to carry a loaf of bread for pb&j sandwiches. I'm sure there are other applications I'll think of. It seems like a waste not to use that space.

Anyway, I'll be able to compare both and report back.
