The bike pictured is now a fixed gear. What is interesting is that it has a high bottom bracket and lots of clearance for fat tires. I got to thinking that it would be good if I wanted to try cyclocross. Now, I have a Surly Crosscheck. And you might ask "why not use that bike." Well, the crosscheck spends most of it's commuter life adorned with racks, fenders, a mirror, lights, and various other commuter baubles. And it has barcons.
Easier to just slap a freewheel on the Miyata.
