Aye, the sad reality..

The "up"side, if you can call it that, is that it's not as bad as I feared.

Two bad spots are the rear dropout & the chip right in the middle of the toptube.

Fortunately, the rest of the chips are in places that I can blend pretty easily. And the dropout is not a hi-vis spot so I think I can work that out as well.

The top tube...that's the one that gets me.
The Little Kitty & the pink star suggestions made me chuckle...because
one idea I had was to have JR make me a custom gold shooting star decal. Just big enough to cover the chip so I wouldn't have to blend (ie; F up) the top tube.

Might look a bit out-of-place, but not as bad as a bad candy blend.
Basically the top tube is what you'll be looking at every time you ride, so I want the red THERE to be perfect!
And it IS! . . . . .except for that one .. little ... chip!

And the box lining stripes came out beautifully! Picture of that when the sun comes up.
