Wade Simmons is correct.

Carving is really fun.

Carving is perhaps the most purest form of freeriding around. There is a place for the newer stuff but in the beginning carving is the original freeriding. One thing that comes with carving is flow, if you have flow then you can carve. It has been my style of riding for the past 3 months. Carving is not really about the drops, it's not about the jumps, it's not about the stunts, carving is about turning and deciding your own path if that path brings you to jumps and drops and so on that is fine. When a person is on when carving the flow involved with it is an amazing thing to see, very inspirational to see. To those thare trying too hard to figure out this thing called freeriding and are taking main focus on the drops, stunts and jumps, take some time out and try carving. For those that can do freeriding but feel like something is missing, carving is the answer.
