It's an FSA Carbon Pro. I don't think it's made anymore. FSA has the nicer Carbon Pro Team and Superlight cranksets now.

I guess 39-30 is too low.
I don't think I'd survive with an 11-23 for the kind of terrain around here but I might be okay with a 25 low gear. I do like having that 27 when I really need it though. Some others resort to triples instead but I've found a 39/53, 12-27 combo works pretty well for me right now.
