One of my eventual goals is to be able to do a ride over the east side of Hamilton that starts in Dublin or Livermore. Take a BART train over to there or park over there. That totals up to 90-100 miles however and I'm not at that level yet.
For now my suggestion was to simply modify the standard Ron route up Mt. Hamilton. Park at the school on Kirk off of Alum Rock and head down Alum Rock to White to Quimby.
The updated route Glenn posted also looks very inviting.
