WRONG, I was hit squarely from the rear by a car traveling over 35mph, I was going approximately 20, the collision flipped me up onto his hood where my helmeted head shattered his windshield. When this sacred him and he hit his breaks I was then tossed down the road over 40 yards. My helmet was broken in several places, and in fact once the plastic cover was taken off it broke into several places. No head injuries other than a burn on the back from the straps as the helmet was beaten about my head. After seeing the windshield, and hearing the witness statements my helmet saved my life...no ifs ands or buts.
