Things are pretty bad in the mtn areas. Do you know which roads you will be riding in Murphy? Alot of creeks washed over bridges and streets in the NC mtns. I know of several roads that are closed and won't be open for a long time due to having to replace several bridges the length of the road. Just called a friend up that way (AP photographer who has been shooting pictures of most of the damage) and he said nothing as come up about Murphy being as bad as the other areas. I just looked at the map and I haven't heard much from down in that area of Ga. I can call another friend down that way tomorrow and see what he says about Ga. I will let you know.
