I gotta say people are WAY too anal about how they wash their shorts. For three years I have been throwing the same pair of Cannondale shorts and for the last year a pair of Trek shorts into the wash with my regular clothes, no light settings or anything, and then throwing them into the dryer on high heat. Always come out fine, and show no signs of wearing out anytime soon. The Treks still look new.
