One disadvantage to aero levers came to mind earlier today.

I will never know what kind of bike it was, but about 18 months ago I was on a group ride, and an old steel bike zipped by with non-aero levers. I may not have even noticed him if it weren't for cables arching gracefully from his brake levers.

There is something about the classic look that draws my eye.
