sounds as though it is not possible. i am starving college student looking to get into riding again. on craigslist i have seen some schwinns, trek 1000, shogun, sekai, fuji, univega, miyata. i don't much about the brands, but most of the bikes are early 90's or 80's. i want to in a sense test the waters, meaning i don't want to buy a $1000 bike and then not ride. so my plans is to buy an older bike, get into riding again and then purchase a nicer bike.
