Automobile paints have color numbers that you can match in most auto parts stores. Unfortunately, bike manufacturers don't use these stock colors unless you are dealing with a custom maker or paint shop that used a standard auto paint.

For a newer bike sometimes the manufacturer can provide touch up color. For something older, you are at the mercy of the hobby shops or what ever you can cobble up.
