My weekend was odd. I managed to get half way warmed up for the road race on Saturday despite the cold and rain, but we had to wait for things to get sorted out. That was frustrating, but the course they managed to pull together was actually a lot of fun! I wasn't able to get in the front group, but I was able to get in a good chase group and truck around. The corners were great, being one of the things I can actually do well.

Today was a really bad day of racing for me. I got caught out after my pull and dropped during the TTT, although I really did not have much to give today. The circuit race started well. I was able to get up front for the first climb, and slip back down the order as planned. But I could not get back for the next one, and got dumped out the back. Then it was back to ITT again for 2 laps

Any tips for getting up rollers quickly? I do fine on long climbs, but die on short, fast ones. And it sucked to get beaten by guys who have not been riding outside for months!
