There's been a lot written the last several years of what wfin2004 is talking about. 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 square. Eating the right foods, you can actually get in fewer calories in 5-6 meals than you do in three, & you regulate your body's metabolism better. A great forum with lot's of talk about nutrition is
