Sounds like you need a -checks up specialized and konas database- Cheaper bike. Kona Cinder Cone? You don't need that great a bike. But for 1400 USD ( Idont know where you live) you can get a Kona Kula. I think you want more an xc bike. Even that's overkill. I'd go with the cinder cone!
