You can also try Ebay and then restrict your search criteria to your local area. You could check google or the phone book for local used bike shops. You could check Play it Again Sports. You could check online classifieds for people selling their old bikes.
I didn't have any luck on Craigslist either so I ended up buying mine on bikesdirect.com. It was a decent price considering the quality of the components.
