I put 2800 miles on a very similar DeRosa last summer. The ride/handling is predictable and never tiring. In fact, I really do prefer it to my newer bikes. The frame to me is the show, the rest of the pieces can always be assembled/acquired if a person shows a little patience. I looked at another DeRosa locally in January, and it was a real gem. The estate wanted at least $1200. A little rich for my tastes. I ended up finding a Colnago Master X Light frameset at our bike swap in Blaine. Seller wanted $300----Sold. I am in the process of building it up. One of these days I'll get around to posting a pic or three of the bikes. I'd bet some of you would like to take a look see.
