I've recently started using Oakley Half Jacket XLJs with prescription lenses. Very expensive -- had to give up naming rights for my first born! Since I cannot tolerate contacts and wanted to try RX sunglasses without inserts, I decided to give them a try. I like them so far even though they provide a little less wind protection than the Bolle Paroles with inserts that I had before they were lost mysteriously.
Funny coincidence. I dug up this thread while researching sunglasses to replace my Bolle Paroles, which I also lost mysteriously. Rode to work with them one day and set them down on my desk. After lunch, I swapped the lenses and put the glasses in my bag. When it was time to leave, they weren't in my bag and I couldn't find them anywhere. Strange!
Anyway, I did like having interchangeable lenses with a prescription inset...cheaper than having a separate prescription on each set of lenses, especially if you have to update your prescription later on.
