i'm a big fan of eBay - i consider it to be a really smooth trust-worthy way to go about shopping for all sorts of stuff. obviously you need to pay attention, but just because some folks are trying to exploit it and some ppl are getting suckered doesn't mean that eBay isn't the single best place to shop for used stuff online.

on a side note, Apple computer stuff always sells for more than it should on eBay - but I don't see how that reflects poorly on the site. it just means that I'd use it to sell my iBook or Powermac but not to buy another one!
