A few years ago a local bike shop was closing (dad started it and gave it to son who didn't want it)
Three of us wanted to take it over, but another bike shop in the area wanted to open another store, and since the old owner had told supplier he was closing, we couldn't get agreements with the lines the shop had in stock (hence my question in my first post about what you would be allowed to do).
