The "reach" of a brake is measured from the center of the mounting hole in the fork to the center of the rim's brake track. Typically brakes are available in "short reach" that can adjust from 37 to 47 mm or "long reach" which adjust from 47 to 57 mm. There are extra long reach brakes available too but I doubt you need them.
