Wheel build suggestions for 180LB rider

My criteria for a wheel build is weight/durability...Value is somewhat important. I will keep the hubs at Ultegra level. Possibly 105 depending the cost of the rim.

I've been looking at the possibility of a 28 spoke front wheel not radially laced and a 32 spoke cross three rear. The Kinlin/niobium rims look impressive for weight. I'm not so sure about the long term durability.

For cosmetic bling I was considering the velocity deep v. This of course negates any potential weight savings.

There seems to be so many options. When all is said and done I would love to have the rims be 1650-1750grams.

I'm leaning to the Colorado Cyclist ultegra/open pro build...possibly dura ace. Can I use SRAM cassettes on Dura Ace hubs?
