If you take your wheels to a LBS that is a Mavic dealer (And most any good shop will be) there will be no warranty issue. I have worked on their wheels for ten years and never had a warranty problem. Generally, the hubs need no adjustment. If you look at the hub and there is a circle of holes around the axle then it can be easily adjusted with the plastic wrench that should have come witrh the wheels. Remove the skewer and put a 5mm wrench in the axle on the side with out the holes and then use the wrench to snug the ring with the holes. It just needs to be snug enough to remove play (Besides, plastic wrench )
