Once you get past Manhattan you're OK, but it is very crowded at the start, and it always starts late.

As rides go, this one is certainly different. It's an amazing way to tour the city and I loved the people I met that day.
Take a camera! I mounted mine to my bars with wire ties and got great shots of NY and it's bridges.
hmmm ... maybe I'll do it again this year.
Digital Rebel, right? I think I remember those shots. I'm not brave enough to do that with my 40, but I got the smallest holster bag I could find.
