Since you are looking for feedback from the public, here's some advice: Your product looks like fun, but for most, it's a novelty product. Not many people out there are going to be racing these things. With that said, I think you'll sell more if you can offer a base model for under $200. When people consider that a pretty decent mountain bike can be had for about the same price as the base model Foot Bike, they will likely look past your product.
A few good points. Especially regarding the golf balls----I am going to go weigh them! Yes again regarding the 'base model'. We see the logic, and we have been sitting with the bike industry trying to find out if they will give us a corner to play in. The place were all the non-traditional wheels go to scratch out a living.
The biggest objection from the bike industry is that you won't be bringing your scooter back in 2 months to service the thing and pay money for a new pair of shoes and pedals. But we are sane enough to realize we are not trying to replace a bike! We also have 'purchase' conflict with the bike industry in regards to how many performance scooters a person will want or need. If you buy a kid one of these things at age 7, he will grow into the machine through his adulthood. I know it is a real lousy thing to consider, but that same kid will not be getting a shiny new bike every Christmas from his local bike shop.
It is still just another set of wheels to us.
