Fujis range from decent to fantastic, IMHO. Some made in Taiwan, some in Japan. I think the Japan bikes are better. My neighbor gave me one for free. I love it. It's a late '70's era 12-speed with a steel frame. I don't have a current photo, or I'd post one.
Anyway, old steel's great and potentially very cheap. Keep your eyes open.
