Maybe you can contact the bicycle club that put on the SCOR Solvang (Calif.) bike ride. Google the Solvang century bike ride there are two, you want the one run by SCOR. They started as a group doing cycling for cardiac rehab. an many members of the club have first hand experience with this....I bet they could really hlep with your questions.
