They do have shorter rides at this event. The ride distances are 10, 40, 70 and 100. It's a great cause and a wonderful event. If you think a 100 miles is too far chose a shorter route but don't miss out on the event.
+1... The 100 is a tough route that I think people need to be prepared for. So for those that are either newer to cycling, recovering from an injury, or just not sure of their own capabilities, do a different length route this year and then you can gauge where you think you might stand for 2009.... Just don't miss out by not going at all!!
