There were two miyata pistas, in my understanding, a Team version and a regular version. I don't know what tubing each one was made from but I presume the Team version would have been of the Triple-Splined double-butted stuff that Miyata made. I saw a complete Team version go for $950 on eBay a few months ago but it was in pristine shape, practically unridden.

A non-Team model was listed on eBay a couple of weeks ago and it sold for $515 but the seller has now listed it on the Seatle CL for $750, I doubt he will get it, even though it is in good condition. The same frame that is on the Seattle CL was offered to me NOS a couple of years ago for $400 but it wasn't my size and I thought he wanted too much for it.

Do you have some pics? I am sure you can get a pretty penny for it if it is in good shape, Miyata made some very high quality stuff.
