another member leads rides during the week and saturday/sunday about 50 miles each, 18 + miles per hour, b to b+ pace. his breaks are more sparse.
i learned how to ride in groups and bicycle maintanance (you should own a frame pump, patch kit, basic tools) through SJW and can show you how to use them if needed. i have drafted and time trialed,, prefer the slower, "smell the roses, see the area" pace. our centuries are at your own pace (sagged).
you can, or anyone else interested, send me private message here at BF for further details of rides in this area.

thanks for being informative and letting me know that not all group rides have to be a speed thing about maintaining a certain pace.
so far for my new bike i have purchased a frame pump, tire levers, seat bag, co2 inflator and small multitool kit. i'm going to pick up two more inner tubes to carry with me on rides whether solo or in a group as well as getting a case of some co2 cartridges and a patch kit. at first i couldn't figure out whether to just carry a frame pump or co2 or both, i figured i will just carry both and depending on how much flats i experience and how comfortable i get with changing flats then i will know if to keep using both or just use one. i guess one of the things i am worried about is being on a solo ride and not having enough supplies needed and then being in a predicament to where i have to "click clack/duck walking" home
