Well I just took her out today for the first ride! I have to say my first impressions are very very good. I didn't have time to do anything big but I did 42mi with about 2800ft of climbing. The first climb is a short 2mi average grade of 6% and the second is a wicked 5mi climb average grade 11% with a 18% stretch for about 500 meters! The bike climbs well, not quite as good as my Orbea but then again the Orbea is close to 3lbs lighter! The thing I liked about it best is how stable the bike is, it definately decends better than the Orca and sprints better also. If I were doing a tour where I had really nasty climbs but didn't have to difficult of a decent I'd go with the Orca but if that ride had a tricky decent the LOOK would get the nod. I think as an all-a-round bike the LOOK is a much better ride. I'm going out on 65mi ride tomorrow on a ride that will take me down the coast and through Mullholland cyn with around 18mi of climbing. The ride down the coast is mostly flat so I'll get a good balance of spinning on the flats and some hard core climbing.
If I had to make a snap decision right now I'd say that I'd sell my Orbea frame and replace it with a Kg481 tomorrow. By the end of the weekend I'll have over 200mi on the bike over some very diverce terrain and I'll have a better idea of what I like about the bike but I have a feeling my Orca frame is going up for sale to be replaced with a 481!
