I'm glad to hear it, because I just bought them for my commuter. However: they have no thread whatsoever; at least 700x23. I would not think them to be any good for gravel or dirt roads.
I bought Michelins because PBK did not have Vittoria Rubino Pros in my color when I was ordering (and I have my priorities straight

). I think Vittorias give a bit nicer ride than Krylions (same bike, same wheels, same pressure, same me =), but it's a very slight difference. I don't think either tire rolls any better then the other.
Vittorias have some thread on the sides, but if I were concerned about comfort, I'd still look at some sort of touring tire first - in this case (long commute, varied surface).
