I'll never forget descending Lookout Mtn in Golden, CO the 100 or so times I've done it. There are several hairpin turns that lay out down the mountain like ribbons, and they are a blast. Lots of deer though. This is the only video I could find, but this rider's not too fast. 1:30 and especially 5:17 show the best parts of the descent, including views of Golden and the Coors brewery. The rider almost hits two deer. Mute your sound. Trust me.

I prefer to climb up lookout and loop around the back hitting colfax. No turns going downhill and the speeds are amusing.
The last time I was up lookout we happened upon a herd of elk.
Anyhow, I will be riding up it on my March century this Saturday. I need to start adding a bit of climbing on my centuries but Lookout is a wee bit on the easy side.
