For parts I'd say go for the Miche Advanced crankset which is just as good as sugino and you won't be stressing the cranks to notice the difference anyway (it's cheaper than sugino, DA, or Campy and you can score the cranks, ring, and BB for under $200 from AEbike.com)

If you're looking for the bike to be very light go for Mavic OPs but otherwise go for the Velocity (with either deep v or aerohead)
