I use a fixed gear to get around, snow, ice, sand, all the crap. I like it because it doesn't require nearly as much maintenance as my road bike. I throw it around a bit but it still runs like new, I did throw some WD40 on it to take care of some rust, but thats all the maintenance I've done to it for a long time. About the WD40, does that make me a young fred in the making?
