No You cannot use the english BB from the Raleigh in the torelli. However, does the Raleigh fit you? It may be a much nicer bike than the torelli. If it is a good quality frame with at least reynolds 531 main frame you should be able to recoup some of your costs selling the raleigh frame itself. If does sound a little expensive at $500 is that is US, but if it is in excellent-immaculate condition and your size it is worth consideration... just try to get it for more like $350.
