I have the 2005 Composite Limited and absolutely love it. Best road bike I've ever owned. It's comfy, fast, beefy (look at that head tube juncture) and stable.

I sold the default wheels back to my LBS, and got some hand-built Dura-Achee / Deep V's. So, I can't comment on the wheels other than saying that's a highly recommended upgrade. Ask the LBS, maybe they'll work with you.

The Tektro brakes are fine. I was told the Shimano R600's are better - so I have a set of those coming in the mail, and if you want, I'll let you know how they are.
