Yep, I got used to being able to flip my Klein during tire changes and not scuffing the brifters, DA 9 with rubber hoods. On my new roadie, did the same thing, but the Ultegra 10 dustcaps got all scratched up, and with only a few hundred miles on that bike. I was pissed. 20 bucks later, I had a new set of plastic dustcaps. I hate to think what Shimano's margins are on those . . .
