I wrote him about track frames a while back, specifically a San Rensho-built Specialized Allez. He politely steered me away from that bike, saying that the rarity of the bike would make it several times more expensive than a near equivalent bike. He offered me a very nice Marinoni for (I think) $600 and an NOS Eisentraut for maybe $1200. Not bargains, by any stretch, but reasonable.
